Needing a little shift from winter to spring?!
Join me for a Spring Self Renewal Retreat right from your home!
The following are 5+ ways you can mindfully transition
from winter to spring:
Add Detoxifying Foods - Like the plants coming back to life around you, the renewed energy of your body is eager for new experiences. Reach (at least 1x day) for the foods that support your body’s inherent detoxification process including an abundance of fresh greens like arugula, dandelion, spinach, and watercress + vegetables like asparagus, artichokes, radishes, and peas. Lemons are an ideal fruit for spring detox and liver support. Consider starting a habit of drinking a glass of warm lemon water each morning.

Turn OFF to Tune In - Charge your phone in another room so you can go to bed + wake up to YOU, not the world around you. Your inner critic will thank you; promise. Consider unplugging from all devices for a period of time. Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.

Digest with Yoga - Practicing yoga after a meal (even just a few poses) can bring circulation to your core, where digestion takes place. Give the following short sequence a try after an upcoming meal. Do it slowly, and take five deep, long breaths every time you change position. Start by lying back on the floor with your knees bent + your arms at your sides. Let your knees fall to the left while your head and arms stretch toward the right. Return to center and switch sides, lowering your knees to the right and turning your head and arms to the left. Return to center and hug your knees to your chest, rocking side to side gently. Sit up + cross your left leg over your right, bending your knee to keep your left foot on the floor. Twist your body to the left, hold, + breathe. Repeat on the opposite side.

Create Space for The New - In the spirit of renewal that comes with Spring, use this season to pare down in your home + your daily routine. Excess — whether in eating, demands on your time, distractions, or possessions— weigh down on our body, mind + spirit. Pick one area of your life that feels overwhelming, or disorganized, and weed your way through it. Get rid of anything that’s extraneous, outdated, expired, or unused. If you come across something that doesn’t align with your current health goals, toss that too. Enjoy freeing up your valuable energy, space + time in order to make room for things that only bring you joy.
Manage Moods with Meditation - Bring life giving fresh breath to your tired soul and reconnect to your true self by adopting a meditation routine. Meditation has been shown to reduce stress, pain + anxiety, promote positive emotions, lead to longer-lasting emotional stability, and heighten focus during daily life. Taking 5 min to inhale positivity and exhale negativity to start or end your day can go a long way!

Connect to Support - Need a support system to hold you accountable, inspire you, cheer you on, or simply have your back when life gets rough?! TEXT "Hi" to (480) 770 3939 to get weekly mindfulness messages + monthly LIVE Life Coaching from The Haven. Here at The Haven we believe: that anyone can survive on autopilot- but that happy, fulfilled people are living, loving, and leading their lives on purpose. In living at a pace that feels right for us and our families. That by taking time to invest in our own needs, we will show up as better moms, wives, sisters, leaders, co-workers and friends. Most of all, we believe that your journey matters and that no one should have to do it alone. If this is a message you need, welcome home.
Happy Retreating!
